As the funding became increasingly difficult and the need continued to multiply with each local family hit by the current economic circumstances, the Jack Bower Fund has taken its mission to the intenet to secure the funding necessary to fulfill its mission set out 6 years ago. That mission is providing safe harbor in the storm for those in need throughout our client counties of South Georgia and beyond. For too many of our rural youth, college is a dream and technology a curse that must be tolerated.

While statistics may paint a bleak picture for the next couple generations of South Georgians, the reality is that hope is alive and well and shines in the next instance of a generous-stranger's money being converted to a brighter future for a Kid of Excellence and tangible assistance today for the surrounding community. The food pantries have served thousands in the past months and, with your help, tens of thousands before the current economic troubles rebound for the next age of prosperity, all while empowering the Bower Leaders, through weekly interaction with their personal Life Skills Coach, bi-weekly correspondence with their personal eMentor, and monthly meetings with Staff, Parents, Volunteers, and Guest Speakers from around the US.

The number of area families in need of assistance has grown steadily as the world's economy ground to its current, your assistance is both tax-deductible and appreciated. For those kind enough to assist us in funding JBF to accomplish the task at hand and to prepare for the coming requests for assistance, please see the available gifts for your support.
